Our Pre-Xmas Holiday at Center Parcs,Woburn
Center Parcs is an annual thing for my parents. Sometimes they take Mini, sometimes they take Me and Cairo and this year we all decided to go together to Centre Parcs Woburn as we loved it so much last time. We decided to splash out on an upgrade too and we had a villa with a sauna and a separate bathroom for each bedroom which was amazing! In our Bedroom we even had a Spa bath!
Getting to Woburn was a dream! We caught the train from our local station to Bedford and then got on the connecting train to Flitwick. Flitwick is the nearest station to Woburn and from there is a FREE shuttle bus which takes about 10 minutes to get you into the centre of the village ( they will even take your bags for you, to your villa.
After the inevitable Tesco trip making sure we bought a Birthday cake for myself we were good to go.
What we got up to!
It was a fab week, we went swimming together as a family for the very first time which was epic! I spent some much needed time with Mini and I loved spending time with my parents in this kind of setting; its always full of fun and laughter. We all went to see Santa (who’s from East London apparently) Mini played Mini Golf with my Dad and Chris, we also spent an evening playing a music trivia game that I won!
On our last morning we went for breakfast at The Pancake House! I had a stack of american pancakes soaked in Maple syrup with a gorgeous latte and I stole some of Minis icing sugar covered pancake too! I opened my cards and gifts and Chris had got me an apple watch! With a swing in my step and a massive grin on my face, we set off on our journey home by train, we spent a bit longer at Bedford on the way home so we took Cairo to see the trains whilst we were there which he loved. I think to be honest we had the better journey home as Mini and my parents got stuck on the M1 for 3 hours.
A collection of pictures from our time together
This first gallery of pictures was taken on my camera and features various snap shots of the Village, wildlife and the family.
This second collection has pictures of Chris and Mini enjoying the Aerial Tree Trail. These were taken by my parents who were away with us.
This collection of snaps were taken on our last full day at Woburn’s Santa’s Grotto. We all had a lovely time and Chris managed some extreme babywearing.
This was a fully fledged babywearing holiday, we actually never take our pushchair away with us anywhere. Here’s some of my favourite pictures we took.
